Who is Communities for Our Colleges?
Communities for Our Colleges (C4C) is a multiracial, student-centered campaign working to improve community and technical colleges by engaging students, faculty, staff, and community members to advocate for improved funding, access, and racial equity.
Community and technical colleges are engines of local economies, individual advancement, and racial justice. They are essential pathways to four-year colleges and careers. They serve communities of color and low-income communities, prepare tomorrow’s workforce, and expand opportunities for those who have been historically underserved.
Our community colleges benefit everyone. Full and equitable funding is an investment in a more prosperous and just future.
C4C is a coalition of student, community, and labor organizations from across the state, working together to strengthen and protect our colleges.

This platform is designed to help you take action in your community. Whether you're starting a campaign at your school, organizing with others, or advocating for change, C4C provides the tools and support you need to get started.
Organizing can take many forms—big or small, visible or behind the scenes. What matters is building power together. If you have an idea to improve your school or community, this is a place to begin.
